Photoplod Challenge

In 2010 and 2012 we have entered a team in the Photoplod Challenge to raise money for various charities including Cancer Research.
PLOD is not for the faint hearted or the ill-prepared. This is a walk like no other, and not what most sane people would contemplate!
Starting at mid-night from Steyning the route goes across the South Downs and ends at the Birling Gap, near Eastbourne covering 42 miles of undulating and stunning scenery.
The target to cover this distance is 16 hours and our best time was in 2010 when first walkers finished in 14.5 hrs.
Blisters and aching limbs are the order of the day!
