Another Good Season for Longfleet UFC

IEC sponsor Longfleet YFC for a 2nd season.

2013 was a great year for the Club. Not only did they celebrate their 25th Anniversary, but they were also awarded 4 major awards. They were named as the Dorset FA Club of the Year by the Dorset FA and Club of the Year in their region by McDonalds. Their Chairman also won an individual award for services to community football by the same group. Finally the management and coaching teams were awarded a Mayors Award for services to children in Poole. 

2014 has also seen success, winning three more awards. Once again, they were delighted to win Dorset FA Club of the Year and Club of the Year for the South West Region by McDonalds. In July 2014, the Club were very proud to receive it's first National Award, becoming the National Winners of the FA Respect and Fair Play Award for a grassroots club. All of these awards are thanks to the wonderful 60+ member volunteers, match officials, Football Futures participants, 220+ players and their famillies.

They are continually working to develop the club further for the future and are therefore very proud to have received these prestigious awards.

The Club believe that football should be fun and enjoyable for all ages, abilities and genders within the community.
