Historic news with Alpro
Alpro Hardware finalised the provision of Alpro cabinet locks to safeguard various cabinets housing sensitive equipment within the Natural History Museum.
Installed on newly acquired cabinets, Alpro supplied “non-standard” cabinet locks with a chrome finish, tailored to the specifications outlined by the museum management. These locks are integrated with a comprehensive access control system to monitor and document movements effectively.
The compact locks provided by Alpro are specifically engineered for display cases, cabinets, and lockers with swing or sliding doors requiring electronic control, eliminating the need for keys. Their versatile design allows for vertical or horizontal fitting, offering robust security despite their compact size.
Tom Courtney, Alpro’s Area Sales Manager, highlighted the practicality and cost-effectiveness of these cabinet locks, stating, “These Alpro cabinet locks offer a pragmatic and economical solution for installations of this nature, underscoring Alpro’s ability to cater to diverse customer requirements with its extensive product range.”
