ALPRO launch their new magnetic latch deadlocking bolt

The Alpro Hardware Division of IEC Limited has announced the release of the new DB25L magnetic latch deadlocking bolt which reduces door alignment problems to ensure correct positioning and more secure locking.
 
The new DB25L/PTLock, is a 12/24vDC deadlocking bolt and comes complete with a 25mm wide faceplate with radius corners and a long strike plate with a square hole.
 
Features include dual action, with a magnetic latch on the side plate to capture the door, and a deadbolt to secure the door. The bolt has a high physical holding force of 1,000 Kgs and a bolt throw of 16mm. It also encompasses automatic deadlocking. The slim line dimensions of the bolt 210mm (L) x25mm (W) x42mm (D), means the bolt is versatile in installation.
 
Designed to provide concealed high security locking on any single or double door action, hinged or sliding door in timber, or steel and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Further the magnetic addition to the bolt ensures that misalignment of the door is a thing of the past.
 
The bolt has multiple voltage inputs with any voltage from 12vDC-10% to 24vDC 15%, it’s complete with built in transient and reverse polarity protection and a continuously rated solenoid. The bolt is also enhanced with a low current consumption and at 12vDC the active current is 1100mA and the holding current (after 200ms) is 210Ma. 24vDC sees this at 1000mA and 90mA respectively.
 
The bolt has dual monitoring with both bolt and door position switches. There is a built in access control module with an automatic unlock period of 8 seconds and multiple relock functions. Accessories include a surface mounting kit in stainless steel. The bolt is approved to CE-BS EN 50081-1 and BS EN 50082-2
